What I offer
Communications & Leadership Coaching
The focus of every training session is to ensure my clients communicate confidently, with passion and, most importantly, with impact. I start by finding and crafting the story they want to tell before providing the tips and techniques to bring it to life. All in a way that is authentic and true. This story is then applied to any stakeholder conversation, such as a presentation, investor meeting, media interview or employee engagement.
As a communications and accredited leadership coach, I offer far more than conventional media training. Drawing on an extensive and adaptable skill set, I customise each session to meet the specific needs and goals of my clients.
Media Training
I provide intensive coaching sessions to prepare for a range of media interviews. From top tier broadcast opportunities to newspaper briefings, I will bring my years of insight to support the training alongside a professional camera crew.
Sessions are designed to build solid skills and techniques for handling a wide range of interview scenarios ensuring my clients have the confidence to deliver key messages and stay in control.

Presentation Skills
Whether it is a keynote speech, an investor meeting or digital presentation, I coach clients to deliver high-impact public speaking and be able to handle challenging Q&A with confidence.
I help people identify exactly what they want to achieve from their speaking opportunity and then produce and deliver material which is engaging, insightful and memorable. I will focus on the practical skills needed to hold an audience’s attention; the use of body language, breathing, powerful use of vocabulary and techniques which add dramatic effect.
Employee Engagement – Communicating Change
In today’s fast-evolving landscape, the voice of employees has become a powerful force and a critical component in shaping an organisation’s reputation. Employees are increasingly looking to their employers to champion their values and provide clear guidance on important societal issues.
Effective leadership requires the ability to communicate with clarity and conviction, bringing the workforce along through periods of change—whether it’s managing mergers, rolling out new strategies, or rallying support for a new product or initiative. I can help if you’re:
- Integrating a new organisational narrative or workplace strategy
- Communicating structural changes or workforce reductions
- Leading group meetings or consultations
- Fostering brand advocacy and employee ambassadorship

Narrative Development
CEOs and senior leadership teams are responsible for defining the direction of their company and must be able to effectively communicate their vision, whether through an internal presentation, media appearance, or panel discussion. Personalisation plays a crucial role in this communication. I specialise in crafting tailored narratives that resonate with key audiences and ensure the message reaches them in the most impactful way. Bringing an external perspective to what is often an inward-facing process, I help leaders articulate the company’s vision, purpose, and values in a way that feels authentic to each individual, while maintaining consistency across the organisation.
Message Training
A clear and memorable narrative isn’t reserved for a CEO or senior leadership team. Instead, an effective narrative should act as an anchor for all sorts of conversations and be used to build company reputation, brand and advocacy. The core narrative will unite and overlap in communication with colleagues, consumers, investors, the media or partners and should clearly and consistently explain the business’s strategy. It should also evolve and develop overtime. I deliver workshops to help achieve that consistency across teams. Through practical and role-playing exercises, I help teams immerse themselves in the narrative and adapt it to support their own communications with specific audiences.

Podcast & Social Preparation
As a former podcast host and contributor, I understand what is required to create compelling, successful multi-platform content.
Leaders now have more opportunities than ever to communicate, from a 30-minute podcast interview to a 30-second Instagram video. However, each format requires its own approach and expertise. Longer conversations demand thoughtful preparation and the ability to keep audiences engaged, while shorter social media clips must deliver a powerful, clear message in a concise, easily digestible way, often requiring technical know-how.
Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in broadcasting, I provide coaching and support to help individuals confidently host or appear as guests across a variety of social media platforms.
Crisis Communications
Dealing with media inquiries during a crisis is one of the toughest challenges a leader can encounter. While a robust operational response is crucial, protecting the company’s reputation through both traditional and social media is equally important. Crisis media training prepares senior leaders to effectively communicate the company’s stance, ensuring they convey the right message—even when all the facts have yet to emerge.

Communicating Remotely
Many of our conversations now happen through a laptop camera, with audiences that can often feel distant or anonymous. Leaders who are used to commanding a live stage and engaging with a room full of people may find the shift to a more sterile, one-way digital format an uncomfortable challenge.
In these sessions, I’ll train leaders how to build connection and convey empathy by utilising key tools and techniques that focus on selecting the right language, honing vocal delivery, and refining body language. Drawing on my experience in broadcasting, I help leaders feel confident and camera-ready, empowering them to communicate with clarity and impact.
Strategic Counsel & Media Relations
Alongside my coaching services, I offer consultancy to support clients in their storytelling, in media engagement and outreach. I use my extensive experience as a national journalist and my solid contact book to develop clear and effective media strategy and ensure communication plans are effective and reach the right people.
I can be called upon to offer insightful and creative counsel, identifying key messages and crafting impactful narratives.
